CT Scanner

CT Scan or CAT Scan

Our state-of-the-art CT machine takes faster more high-quality images while keeping the radiation dose extremely low.

In Preparation

Wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing. No metals including jewelry will be allowed so please remove them in advance. We perform our own in-house creatinine testing for imaging contrast if patients are over 60. Contrast exams require an IV to be placed, please drink water to hydrate prior to your exam.

What to Expect

A CT or CAT Scan is perfect for those that cannot have an MRI due to contraindications or claustrophobia. These scans are the gold standard for boney detail and 3D imaging with a quick scan time.

Valley Imaging CT Scanner

Our CT scanner is new, improved, and ready to scan! A CAT scan uses an X-ray camera that spins helically while our table (and patient) moves through it. This is an incredibly fast way to acquire 3D imaging. It is perfect for helping you and your provider find answers while keeping radiation doses as low as possible. With our brand-new equipment, we focus on keeping dosage low, while still producing exceptional imaging.

Myelogram

Please be prepared to lay flat at home after your exam to avoid headaches.
